Recognized as one of the most talented sculptors of modern China, Charles C. Min Hu's art works ahve been sought after by collectors from all overChina, Russia Japan Southeast Asia, France and North America.Charles' call to fame has been his delicate and graceful sculptures which have won him many awards and are now prominantly displayed in well known museums and galleries throught Japan and China.

Since immigrating to Canada in 1988, Charles has studied English while pursuing his sculpure.He began using the jade medium only when he moved British Columbia, straying from the ivory he worked with so much in Shanghai.His goal "I want my sculpture to be alive, they should be both graceful and endearing.You should want to touch them."
