Jos Binne was born in Quebec City in 1949 of French and Huron heritage.  His love for leathercraft became a profession in 1976.  His work has been honoured with several awards in the western United States and British Columbia.  Inspired by traditional designs and artifacts of the North American natives, Jos has developed his own unique style that has recently brought him international recognition at "La Semaine Du Cuir" a prestigious exhibition in Paris, France.  Residing in Vancouver since 1988, Jos is a composer and artist whose music and painting are inspired by the natives of North America.
