Turtle Island Gallery William Finn

William is of Northern Cree Descent (Lac Lacosse) from northern Saskatchewan.  He started in the late 50's doing lithographics in Vancouver and progressed to carving sterling silver and gold jewellery - earrings, bracelets, pendants, and rings with wonderful Cree and Northwest Coast designs.  He also does copper jewellery and combination fun pieces with buffalo teeth and glass beads!

In 1998 he was commissioned to carve gold and silver pendants and cufflinks for the delegates and their spouses at the APEC conference in Kananaskis.  Bill has also been doing corporate work for the International Coral Festival in Powell River, B.C. since 1984.

He now resides in Banff, Alberta creating and carving jewellery.
